About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced regulatory professional to join our team as a Senior Regulatory Officer.

Job Description:

The Senior Regulatory Officer will play a key role in supporting the regulation of the early childhood education and care sector within the context of the Regulating for Quality policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective regulatory strategies to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, policies, and guidelines.
  • Provide high-quality advice and guidance to stakeholders on regulatory matters, including ECEC providers and services.
  • Conduct risk-based assessments and make recommendations to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement operational policy initiatives and improve regulatory processes.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring data quality assurance and integrity.
  • Prepare clear and concise communication materials, including correspondence, reports, and briefs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in law, social science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in regulatory roles, with a focus on early childhood education and care.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
