Job Title: Senior Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to join our team in implementing effective procurement strategies and policies. As a Senior Procurement Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the government construction and infrastructure sector in achieving its objectives.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with organisational objectives;
  • Preparing tenders across various categories, ensuring evaluation and regulatory compliance;
  • Implementing local procurement processes in accordance with Queensland Procurement Policy, contributing to reduced material and subcontractor costs;
  • Working effectively with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing, meet performance standards, and support medium and major building contracts;
  • Ensuring compliance with Queensland Procurement Policy, delegations, and other relevant legislation;

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Finance or a related field;
  • Relevant professional certifications in procurement (CPP - Certified Procurement Professional or similar);
