Job Opportunity

The Senior Project Manager will lead and engage key stakeholders, including project teams and external partners to achieve desired outcomes for complex projects.

This role has a focus on leadership and strategic planning underpinned by excellence in project delivery. In addition to delivery, the role will focus on how complex project scope supports business and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver predominately complex projects
  • Execute strategic projects with minimal oversight
  • Develop strong relationships with industry partners and international entities
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams aligned to strategic business objectives
  • Build and maintain positive relationships between key stakeholders, project teams and customers
  • Act as a focal point for customer contact and build trust through effective communication
  • Lead project teams to ensure timely completion of activities and efficient use of resources to meet requirements
  • Ensure all project requirements are properly documented and pursued vigorously
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend trade-offs between scope, quality, time and cost
  • Ensure delivered products meet required standards and provide exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Develop a risk management culture that continuously mitigates known risks and communicates impact outside the project team
  • Provide direction to and motivate project teams
  • Identify and address training needs for project teams
  • Complete closure activities upon project completion, including lessons learned and mentoring for developing managers
About You
  • Significant experience in project management.
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently to deliver outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate strategy and link to objectives and project deliverables.
  • Proven ability to negotiate with and influence internal and external stakeholders to generate benefits.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt written and verbal communication to suit different audiences.
  • Ability to partner with stakeholders to obtain necessary deliverables.
