This permanent opportunity is for an experienced leader to coach and develop a group of skilled tradespeople in a workshop environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all key performance indicators are achieved and customers receive a positive experience each time they engage with the organization.

About the Role

  • Supervising the workmanship and performance of a team of skilled tradespeople
  • Driving continuous improvement and striving to achieve service labour targets
  • Scheduling work and managing service work orders
  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of apprentices
  • Driving a safe work environment with a focus on innovation and excellence
  • Effectively manage/monitor all work in progress to achieve company benchmarks

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Highly developed communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to liaise with customers, peers, co-workers and all levels of management
  • Excellent organisational skills and the capacity to handle several tasks simultaneously
  • Previous supervisory / leadership experience in a similar role is highly desirable
  • Intermediate computer skills including MS Office
