About the Role

The Assistant Retail Manager is responsible for leading a team of retail professionals to deliver exceptional customer service to our customers and donors.

A typical day might include:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day functions of the sales floor in a big box environment
  • Providing leadership and supervision to a team of up to 12 team members during shifts
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance efficiencies and increase store sales and profits through creative thinking
  • Leading by example and delivering outstanding customer service by engaging with customers and donors
  • Welcoming and training new team members, supporting their success and growth

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a mix of the following:

  • Availability for full-time hours on a flexible rotating roster from Monday to Sunday
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment such as retail, hospitality, warehousing, or other customer-focused industries
  • Strong communication and coaching skills to empower and motivate your team
  • Impact-driven mindset to make a positive difference in your team and community
