About Us

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team.

Job Description:

The role of Team Leader involves leading and mentoring a team, as well as directly supporting people with disability when required. This includes providing effective individualised and tailored supports to NDIS participants to enable them to achieve their goals.

Our ideal candidate will have an understanding of the dynamic nature of support work and a dedication to minimising the risks associated with the service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality support and services to a caseload of participants under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
  • Taking responsibility for referrals, rostering, professional development and supervision of a team of Support Workers and positive participant outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in successfully leading or managing a team;
  • Experience in achieving desired program outcomes;
  • Well-developed knowledge of the Disability Services Sector;
  • Skills & experience in working with people with disability;
  • Ability to use initiative and handle a variety of activities concurrently and with minimal supervision;
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong organisational, time management and presentation skills; current drivers Licence, including own transport.
