Maintenance Officer

Develop your career in a high-performing facilities management team responsible for maintaining a portfolio of two aged care facilities.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Regional Operations Director and contribute to a senior management team that provides access to training, development, and support.

As the maintenance, security, and safety custodian, this position requires exceptional organizational skills and diplomacy when dealing with stakeholders at all levels.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the facilities to a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance
  • Ensuring all maintenance operations meet workplace health and safety requirements
  • Coordinating and managing maintenance, cleaning, and security contractors
  • Monitoring and maintaining programs to reduce energy, water, and other service wastage

With exposure to similar challenges across hard and soft services facilities management, this role demands a proactive approach and effective communication skills.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and deliver their own operational budget and contribute to the implementation of planned preventative maintenance programs.
