This is a pivotal analytical position within the Australian Federal Government, focused on determining salary adjustments for staff in over 100 international missions.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct annual reviews of salaries and benefits for overseas staff using actuarial data and market intelligence to inform decision-making.
  • Maintain and enhance a complex Excel-based remuneration model ensuring data integrity and performance.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data documenting assumptions and methodologies for audit purposes.
  • Collaborate with senior staff to incorporate local context into salary decisions and provide strategic guidance.
  • Source high-quality remuneration data from external suppliers.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Advanced technical expertise in HR, accounting, and data analysis using Excel including PowerQuery.
  • Proven experience in remuneration analysis preferably within a large organization.
  • Analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
