International Security Opportunity

A career opportunity has arisen within the security clearances team to deliver exceptional results for Australia's global network.

As a member of this team, you will collaborate with clients and partners both internally and externally to ensure that DFAT staff possess the necessary security clearances to promote and protect Australia's international interests.

You will be highly organized and efficient, able to manage multiple priorities under minimal supervision. You should possess excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable engaging with diverse clients from various backgrounds and seniority levels.

A Certificate IV in Government Security (Personnel Security) and/or experience in personnel security or security risk management would be beneficial but are not essential prerequisites for this role.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality outcomes and contributing to a collaborative work environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the attainment of security clearances;
  • Developing and implementing strategies to meet security clearance requirements;
  • Providing expert advice on security risk management and personnel security procedures;
