Key Role in Patient Care:
">The Divisional Receptionist plays a crucial part in fostering a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff at the medical centre. This position involves efficiently managing the reception area, answering calls, providing accurate information, and ensuring seamless communication between departments.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative support to Consultants and other disciplines within the department
- Performing clinical typing duties accurately and efficiently
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Liaising with empathy to a variety of people, including elderly and disabled clients
- Demonstrated ability in dealing with requests for service and problem-solving
- Ability to perform clinical typing, with particular emphasis on medical terminology and dictation work
- High-grade computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office
