Townsperson Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to maintain our community's assets and infrastructure with a focus on safety, customer service, and community pride.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance tasks including mowing, street cleaning, drainage maintenance, and upkeep of public facilities.
  • Operation and maintenance of small plant and equipment, ensuring all work is conducted safely and efficiently.
  • Upholding Council values of sustainability, integrity, respect, and professionalism in all tasks.
  • Providing exceptional service to the community, ensuring public spaces remain clean, safe, and welcoming.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Essential: White Card (WHS General Construction Induction), Class C Driver's License, Traffic Controller certification, and hands-on experience with horticulture or related maintenance roles.
  • Proven ability to operate tools such as mowers, chainsaws, and hand tools.
  • Strong teamwork skills and commitment to safety and environmental standards.
