Grants Administrator and Community Liaison

The successful candidate will work closely with our Coal Communities Teams to administer and promote the community grants program across relevant Isaac and Mackay communities.
Main Responsibilities:- Grants Administration: The individual will be responsible for receipt of applications, collation of information, transfer of content into summarised formats for grant committee members' review, drafting of community grant contracts for successful applicants, data entry into payments system to enable transfer of grant monies, management of compliance process for grants.
- Marketing and Promotion: Support the Community Team in delivering key community events across the Bowen Basin in Qld, including arranging venue, catering or other related services, preparing invitations and drafting communications, supporting with the development of internal communications and organisation of internal personnel to attend the event, development of related communications material following the event to promote its success.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Lead the implementation of the Benefiting My Community Stakeholder Engagement Plan, engage with key stakeholders across the company - internally and externally to enable effective delivery of the grants and events tasks.
- Reporting: Prepare reports for approval by the Manager Community, following the selection of recipients each round, produce summary reports that detail the grant applications received, the selection process, and the final determination, maintain status reports that detail where the grant is within the selection, payment, implementation cycle, request close out reports from grant recipients and include that information in a central report register.
This role requires experience in administration, management, and communication of grants programs or similar, reporting, and project administration. Strong interpersonal and networking skills are essential, as well as the ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to changing situations. Proven organisational and planning skills, accuracy, and attention to detail are also required. A valid driver's licence is necessary.
