POSITION OVERVIEW

In the capacity of Senior Electrical Engineer, you will oversee the planning and execution of technical deliverables associated with the integration and maintenance of sophisticated systems and infrastructure. This role will also involve serving as a technical advisor to Engineering Management, with expectations to mentor and guide junior Electrical Engineers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct technical assessments of operational systems, equipment, and infrastructure to support optimization and enhancement initiatives. Assist in meeting design project requirements, encompassing programming, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management. Translate strategic requirements from Engineering Management into actionable solutions for complex technical challenges. Propose process enhancements based on customer and program specifications. Provide mentorship to junior engineers on projects within the same discipline. Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and corporate policies. Comply with all environmental health and safety regulations at the site. Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

A minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering experience is essential.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

8 years of relevant engineering experience in the defense sector, design engineering, manufacturing, construction, or technology is preferred.

WORK REQUIREMENTS

Must be at least 18 years of age. Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English. Must be an Australian or US citizen.
