Job Summary:

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Power Systems Engineer to support a requirement for a US Government contract in a remote location. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical power distribution systems for facilities construction and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement electrical power distribution systems for facilities construction and maintenance.
  • Maintain existing electrical power systems and ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical power systems meet project requirements.
  • Develop and implement plans for electrical power distribution system upgrades and renovations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Perform configuration management activities for electrical power systems.

Requirements:

  • US Citizen with active U.S government clearance – TS/SCI with polygraph.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure as an Electrical Engineer.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in medium and low voltage industrial power distribution.
  • Experience with design of medium and low voltage distribution.
  • Experience with high voltage distribution and frequency conversion equipment.
  • Experience working in secured/restricted areas, data centers (power and cooling), performing configuration management activities, and knowledge of the Uptime Institute Tier configuration topologies.
