
Administrative Support Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated professional to fill the role of Administrative Support Coordinator. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Health Information Services team at Calvary Mater Newcastle.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide timely and accurate support for clinical forms supply, department reception, and assistance with release of information.
- Be the first point of contact for Health Information Services, providing excellent and professional customer service skills.
- Clinical Forms ordering and supply, maintain master files including allocating barcodes for DMR.
- Process Release of Information requests in accordance with privacy laws and hospital policies.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including telephone calls, messages, correspondence, documentation, filing, forms supply, and other duties as directed by the Manager Health Information Services.
- Coordinate, maintain, and schedule all meetings related to the position, including minutes, agendas, report preparation, and record management.
About You:
- You have experience in a hospital or healthcare administrative role with high-level medical terminology and computer skills.
- You possess attention to detail, flexibility with work priorities, ability to manage a high workload, and ability to assist with change.
- You can work with minimal supervision, independently, and as part of a team.
- You demonstrate discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold NSW Health Privacy Principles.
- You have experience using health administration systems and Microsoft software.
