Electrical Project Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to manage the installation of heavy machinery for a major electrical project in Deeside.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for site visits, job scoping, material ordering, and reviewing M&E drawings.
  • They will also write Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), issue permits, and oversee electricians/subcontractors.
  • Conducting safety audits and ensuring compliance with UK regulations is essential.
  • Managing NICEIC certification and electrical completion paperwork is crucial.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, possess strong M&E knowledge, and a good understanding of permit systems and Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.

They should be able to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams, hold a 17th Edition Qualified Electrician qualification, CSCS/ECS card, SSSTS/SMSTS, and possess proactive, organised people management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the installation of heavy machinery on-site.
  • Oversee electricians/subcontractors and ensure compliance with UK regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Coordinate with other teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
