Electrical Installation Project Leader Needed

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee the installation of heavy machinery on a major electrical project in Deeside. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing site visits, material ordering, reviewing M&E drawings, writing risk assessments and method statements, issuing permits, conducting safety audits, and ensuring compliance with UK regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting site visits for job scoping, material ordering, and reviewing M&E drawings.
  • Developing and implementing risk assessments and method statements.
  • Issuing permits and overseeing electricians/subcontractors.
  • Performing safety audits and ensuring adherence to UK regulations.
  • Managing NICEIC certification and electrical completion paperwork.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role with strong M&E knowledge.
  • Understanding of permit systems and Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • 17th Edition Qualified Electrician, CSCS/ECS card, SSSTS/SMSTS.
  • Proactive, organised, with strong people management skills.
