Job Overview

At Accor, we prioritize both our guests and our team members. We are currently looking for motivated and detail-oriented Room Attendants to join our dedicated Housekeeping team. Candidates with prior experience in a similar position within a hotel environment are preferred, and we offer both casual and permanent part-time roles.

As a member of the Housekeeping team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and comfort in guest accommodations, corridors, and service areas. This includes tasks such as changing bed linens, making beds, sanitizing bathrooms, and replenishing guest amenities. You will thrive in a collaborative team setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding promptly to guest inquiries and requests
  • Ensuring guest rooms are cleaned to the highest standards
  • Completing assigned cleaning tasks to meet brand expectations
  • Managing the transfer of soiled linens and disposal of waste
  • Safely handling and utilizing cleaning chemicals

Candidate Profile:

To excel in this role, you should possess a passion for the hospitality sector and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Candidates must have unrestricted work rights in Australia and be available for flexible shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in cleaning, preferably in a hotel setting

  • Flexibility to work on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of safe chemical handling and manual handling techniques
