Job Title:

Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager - Site Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team at a building site. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the engineering team and mentor direct reports, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Develop and implement safety and statutory compliance programs to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Work with the recruitment team to fill allocated headcount with high-quality experienced staff, including support for Apprentice and Graduate programs.
  • Maintain equipment failure contingency plans and coordinate rehearsals with affected parties to ensure failures or breakdowns are rectified as quickly as possible.
  • Plan for future growth, upgrades, or new equipment roll-outs, working with Site Management, Finance, and internal design teams.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant experience of Engineering team leadership.
  • Employee and performance management experience.
  • Distribution or manufacturing field experience with equivalent mechanical or electrical field experience.
  • Facilities management, office management, corporate administrative services, or hospitality management experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience/ 2+ years of Amazon experience.
Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience in design review process to incorporate electrical, mechanical, automation controls solutions to drive equipment reliability and standards.
  • Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, CMMS programs, preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics.
