Job Description

As a Compliance Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our organization's compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest standards of ethics.

The primary duties and responsibilities include:

  • Strengthening and optimizing our Compliance team to ensure alignment with global business objectives.
  • Assisting in tracking global regulatory developments and coordinating with the global Compliance team to maintain a robust Compliance program.
  • CORRESPONDING WITH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CUSTOMERS ON COMPLIANCE ISSUES such as Client Complaints, Trade Audits, and examinations.
  • Reviewing and assessing Compliance incidents and breaches, providing timely escalations to Management when necessary.
  • COORDINATING WITH GLOBAL COMPLIANCE DEPARTMENT & MONITORING STANDARD BUSINESS ACTIVITIES, FUNCTIONS, AND PRACTICES TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH REGULATIONS AND POLICIES.
  • Providing assistance on ad-hoc investigations to gather background information for advice and recommendations.
  • Establishing and developing internal Compliance policies and procedures for new regulatory requirements, business activities, or products.
  • Ensuring adherence to statutory and relevant regulatory authorities' requirements.
  • Identifying key Compliance risks and weaknesses, recommending enhanced procedures to improve operational efficiency and control.
Additional Responsibilities

Regardless of role, all employees are expected to:

  • Adhere to the FCA's Conduct Rules.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure good customer outcomes are achieved, particularly where the interests of the Company conflict with those of customers.
  • Attend annual mandatory Compliance/Regulatory training, including but not limited to Conduct Risk and Treating Customers Fairly.
  • Complete assigned mandatory training.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree in Commerce, Law, Audit, or related disciplines.
  • At least 1 year of relevant Compliance experience is required.
  • Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements and a good understanding of control concepts, as well as Compliance rules and regulations.
  • Proficiency in English speaking and sound writing skills.
