Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Position Overview:
In this position, you will be responsible for:
Engaging with a diverse array of machinery and equipment Assisting with emergency repairs and shift operations Contributing to planned shutdowns, with opportunities to advance into supervisory or coordinator roles Performing tasks aimed at long-lasting repairs while upholding high standards of craftsmanship Ensuring maintenance activities adhere to legal and AS/NZ regulations, utilizing OEM manuals and collaborating with colleagues and engineers Conducting fault diagnosis, maintenance, and servicing tasks safely and efficiently, following manufacturer guidelines Interpreting and extracting data from engineering schematics, specification diagrams, and maintenance documentation Preparing workspaces for the maintenance of equipment, systems, or components Utilizing site management systems and SAP to ensure all maintenance records are completed and stored according to site protocols Adapting to changing priorities within the on-demand system Ensuring that contractors are properly inducted and supervised during service visits when necessaryCandidate Profile:
Relevant qualifications in Mechanical trade At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting Strong commitment to safety and compliance Excellent problem-solving abilities Self-motivated individual capable of thriving in a team-oriented environment Proficient in managing project execution Willingness and flexibility to work overtime as needed Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations Capable of working effectively under tight deadlinesWhy Choose Cement Australia?
