We are seeking a Junior Test Analyst to contribute to our IT programs team. This is an entry-level position that involves both manual and automated testing, ensuring high software reliability and compliance.

About the Role

As a Junior Test Analyst, you will collaborate with technical teams, business SMEs, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. Your key responsibilities include analysing requirements, conducting static testing, designing, executing, and managing test cases for system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and production verification testing.

  • Analyse requirements to identify potential issues and develop effective testing strategies
  • Design and execute test cases to validate system functionality and performance
  • Create test data and ensure traceability throughout the testing process
  • Participate in test case reviews and defect triage to ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Identify regression tests and testing risks to maintain software quality

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure alignment with testing standards and best practices
  • Develop strong analytical skills to translate requirements into actionable test cases

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in system integration testing, including web applications, mobile apps, and portals
  • Proficiency with manual testing tools, such as Jira
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate requirements into test cases
  • Intermediate SQL Server knowledge for data analysis and testing
  • Ability to troubleshoot and isolate test failures for efficient issue resolution

Desirable Experience:

  • Exposure to automated testing, particularly with SmartBear TestComplete/TestExecute
  • Testing experience on large-scale or multi-year projects
  • Familiarity with data testing, ETL processes, and large datasets
