About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join Northrop Grumman Corp. (AU) and contribute to the success of our Defence Systems business. You will work closely with our engineering team to investigate problem reports, review technical instructions, and implement solutions to ensure the continued airworthiness of the aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate problem reports from the Maintenance Organisation and implement engineering solutions to maintain airworthiness of the RAAF Triton Aircraft.
  • Review United States Navy Technical Instructions for suitability against WHS and Australian Configuration, Role and Environment requirements.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement solutions to complex technical problems.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience working within an aviation environment.
  • Qualification in engineering or similar aviation trade.
  • Knowledge of the Defence Publication System and DASR publication requirements.

Security Clearance Information:

As an NV1 (Negative Vetting) Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) security clearance is required for this role. You must be an Australian Citizen. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable, as such your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role. You will also need to satisfy pre-employment drug & alcohol testing, police checks, and employment screening verification.
