Hospitality Leadership Role

Our residential aged care facility seeks a seasoned Hospitality Manager to oversee the management of dining, cleaning, laundry and Concierge services.

The successful candidate will have previous leadership experience in hospitality, food service or customer service roles, preferably in aged care. They will be responsible for managing direct reports and ensuring the efficient use of resources to deliver high-quality, cost-effective services.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Managing hospitality functional areas to deliver high-quality services that contribute to a safe and comfortable home environment.
  • Ensuring the effective use of resources to deliver high-quality, cost-effective services.
  • Promoting a relationship-centred approach to service provision with residents, families, employees and other stakeholders.

To Be Successful In This Role You'll Need:

  • A passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
  • Strong customer-centric approach and relationship building skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Management, Aged Care Management, or related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Ability to build relationships with older people.
  • Strong coaching / training skills with the ability to positively influence others.
  • Effective conflict resolution skills with a high emotional intelligence.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to enhance the quality of life for elderly individuals.
