Residential Aged Care Hospitality Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitality Services Manager to join our team at Residential Aged Care in Kincumber. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the hospitality services including dining, cleaning, laundry, and Concierge services.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, preferably in aged care, with experience in leading teams and managing resources effectively. You will have a customer-centric approach and excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and employees.

About the Role

  • Manage all hospitality functional areas to deliver high-quality services that contribute to a safe and comfortable home environment
  • Manage the efficient use of resources to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, hospitality and enhanced services
  • Be visibly present within the home, promoting a relationship-centred approach to service provision with residents, families, employees, and other stakeholders
  • People management

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • A heart and passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Strong customer-centric approach and relationship-building skills
  • Tertiary qualifications (TAFE/Diploma) in Hospitality Management, Aged Care Management, or related field preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Ability to build relationships with older people
  • Strong coaching/training skills with the ability to positively influence others
  • Effective conflict resolution skills with a high emotional intelligence
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Competent IT skills including full Microsoft suite
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to enhance the quality of life for elderly individuals
