Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Administrator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for security and a drive to make a difference.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the integrity of our systems and data.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Implement and maintain robust security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software to safeguard against potential threats.
  • Monitor security systems and networks for potential security breaches and respond promptly to any incidents that may arise.
  • Collaborate with other IT and business units to ensure seamless integration of security policies and procedures into business processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant IT qualification from a tertiary institution or vendor.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or SANS GIAC are highly desirable.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in information security administration, with a strong background in access control, network security, encryption, and incident response.
  • Excellent knowledge of information security principles and best practices, including risk management, compliance, and governance.
