We're looking for a Security Officer to join our retail site in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast. The successful candidate will be the face of security excellence, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients, customers, and visitors.

About This Opportunity

This is a permanent, full-time role with 4 days on, 4 days off roster (days and nights), 12 hour shifts. You'll have access to attractive pay rates under the Security Services Industry Award, reviewed annually.

  • Delivering exceptional customer service alongside professional security duties.
  • Guarding, patrolling, monitoring, and controlling access to the premises.
  • Promptly responding to emergencies, alarm events, and calls for assistance.
  • Conducting risk assessments and addressing potential threats with professionalism.
  • Managing access control and maintaining situational awareness.
  • Preparing detailed incident reports and data logs.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a current Security License with crowd control (essential).
  • Have a Control Room License.
  • Be in possession of a current First Aid certificate & CPR.
  • Demonstrate impeccable presentation and professionalism.
  • Show flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team.
