Job Title:

Truck Training Instructor

About the Role:

The primary purpose of this position is to deliver high-quality training and assessment programs for professional drivers. As a Driver Trainer, you will be responsible for implementing our business driver training strategy, focusing on risk management, quality control, HSE, and human resource management systems.

Key Responsibilities include conducting group and one-on-one training sessions, assessing driver competencies, coaching drivers to perform tasks safely and efficiently, planning and coordinating training activities, and developing quality training materials.

Requirements and Qualifications:

- Certificate IV or Diploma in Workplace Training and Assessment - Heavy Vehicle Drivers License (Prefer MC) - DG license and SLP preferred or willing to obtain - Knowledge of HV mass management, fatigue management, dangerous goods, load restraint, road transport rules and regulations - Experience as a skilled and competent driver/MHE operator and being an experienced and competent Trainer and Assessor - A can-do approach towards driver safety, coaching and risk reduction - Intermediate Microsoft office skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to review training and assessment effectiveness and make recommendations for continuous improvement
