As a dedicated professional, you will be responsible for delivering expert consultancy services to external telecommunications clients, providing specialized advice on OHS matters tailored to meet both industry standards and company-specific requirements.

Responsibilities include conducting initial evaluations and surveys of customer telecommunications companies to identify areas for improvement in OHS compliance, developing and implementing OHS policies, programs, and consultancy reports, offering consultancy and advice to ensure client companies adhere to local and international OHS regulations and standards, guiding customer companies through comprehensive risk assessments, pinpointing potential hazards and suggesting control measures to mitigate workforce risks, monitoring, evaluating, and providing guidance on the workplace environment, investigations of workplace incidents, root cause analyses, and recommending preventive measures.

Requirements for this role include holding a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety, possessing comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the Work - Occupational Health and Safety Act, Work - Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, and relevant governing bodies, having experience with hazard assessments and risk management, being able to prepare and present training sessions, high competency in the Microsoft suite, and proficiency in managing and maintaining complex documentation.
