Job Title: Clinical Nurse Consultant Gynaecology
About the RoleThis is a new and exciting opportunity to join our health services as a Mc Grath Cancer Care Nurse (MCCN) in our Gynaecology department.
The role will form an important link of our Gynae-oncology team assisting patients in their cancer journey.
- Provide care, information and support for people with cancer across continuity of care pathways and multidisciplinary teams within the cancer care community and health service.
- Collaborative, clinical and supportive care for people and families along with facilitation of communication across multidisciplinary cancer care team.
- Expert knowledge regarding spectrum of cancer care inclusive of health assessment, treatment pathways, referrals and on-going facilitation of clinical and supportive cancer care.
- Post Graduate qualifications in cancer nursing - oncology and/or palliative care
- AHPRA Nursing Registration Division 1
- Minimum of 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience as a registered nurse with at least 3 years recent full time equivalent experience in Oncology, Palliative Care or Cancer Stream specific Nursing.
- A current Police Record Check
- Working with Children Check
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders
