Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oncology/Haematology Nurse to join our team in a permanent capacity.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality nursing care and providing exceptional patient experiences within the Day Oncology Unit.

  • Clinical Expertise:
  • To provide evidenced-based care to Oncology and Haematology patients, as well as other conditions requiring specialist infusional care.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care:
  • Delivering high quality nursing care that meets individual patient needs and ensures their comfort throughout treatment.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Fostering effective working relationships with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals and enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • A current nursing registration with AHPRA.
  • Previous Oncology/Haematology nursing experience required.
  • Current competence and certificate in administration of cytotoxic agents.
  • Contemporary knowledge of best practice in cancer nursing care.
