Job Title: Water Resource Management Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for recently graduated individuals to join our team and gain valuable experience in water resource management.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to conduct water planning activities, draft policy papers, and contribute to a positive team culture.

About the Role:

As a Water Resource Management Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting water planning activities, including coordinating input from associated teams and delivering output for water planning functions and business objectives.

You will also draft policy papers and recommendations for the development of water plans, supporting instruments, and other water planning documents in line with relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct water planning activities, including coordination and delivery of output for water planning functions and business objectives.
  • Draft policy papers and recommendations for the development of water plans, supporting instruments, and other water planning documents.
  • Undertake technical reviews to inform development of water management solutions and policy.
  • Assist with consultation with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare policy papers, briefing notes, and other correspondence as required.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of water resource management principles and practices.
