Event Specialist Job Summary
The Event Sales and Experience Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and customer focus to all MICE/Events clients. This position maximises hotel revenue and profitability by providing administrative support to the Event Sales & Planning department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow all event standards when assisting the department to prepare proposals and contracts.
- Administer and maintain adequate office supplies and stationery items.
- Ensure all event sales and restaurant menus are up to date and available for team use.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need hospitality or sales/marketing qualifications and previous experience in catering sales or events environment in luxury hotels/resorts or the hospitality sector. You will also require knowledge of Hotel Property and Catering Management Systems (OPERA), proven customer service experience, organisational and time management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
