About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team at the Department of Industry, Science and Resources. As a key member of our Financial Management Branch, you will play a critical role in delivering professional and reliable financial services to our divisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain divisional budgets, including departmental and administered expenditure and revenue, and staffing level components.
  • Support updates to forecast expenses and revenue, accurately reflecting changes to planned business operations.
  • Undertake month end processes including commitment reporting, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Deliver accurate and timely month end reporting, including analysis and commentary that is fit for purpose and suited to the audience.
  • Assist with asset management activities.
  • Provide support to clients on a range of financial matters, including compliance.
  • Contribute to ongoing business improvement initiatives within the team.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian citizen and hold a Baseline security clearance. You will also need to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.
