Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Service Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to customers in the Asia Pacific region.

The ideal candidate has experience in irrigation engineering, IT technical support, and irrigation design concepts and practices.

Proficiency in English is required, with Japanese or Korean being an added asset.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide remote technical support to internal and external customers, distributors, and field personnel;
  • Participate in a 24/7 technical support program;
  • Configure hardware for irrigation applications;
  • Market and sell services remotely;
  • Assist with installation, maintenance, commissioning, or repair projects;
  • Conduct onsite, remote, and classroom training;
  • Support revenue-generating services such as contracts, data plans, weather station plans, audits, and spare parts sales;
  • Provide field/technical information to teams;
  • Liaise with international support teams;
  • Log, track, and follow up on product and technical issues;
  • Communicate with other functional areas to resolve customer issues in a timely fashion.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Agronomy, or equivalent;
  • 5+ years of relevant experience and technical support experience;
  • Experience in AutoCAD design;
  • Strong troubleshooting skills;
  • Knowledge of electronics and information systems;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time;
  • Proficiency in English.
