**Job Title:** Irrigation Assistant Specialist

**Job Summary:** We seek a skilled irrigation professional to manage all aspects of irrigation systems across our agricultural operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for determining hydraulic parameters, implementing and managing irrigation programs, scheduling irrigations, selecting and managing pumping systems, supervising installations and maintenance, operating and maintaining systems, and ensuring accurate records of programs.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine hydraulic parameters for an irrigation system
  • Implement and manage irrigation programs
  • Schedule irrigations
  • Select and manage pumping systems for irrigation
  • Supervise irrigation system installations and maintenance
  • Operate and maintain irrigation systems
  • Ensure accurate records of programs

**Requirements:**

  • Hands-on experience with 5+ years in irrigation
  • Mechanically minded with exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Horticultural knowledge and practical experience
  • Energetic and proactive individual
  • Calm under pressure and highly competent
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
