About the Role

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children in a safe and engaging environment.
  • Develop and implement daily activities that promote learning and development.
  • Supervise and support children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Prepare and serve healthy food options, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and school staff.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement plans to enhance the service.
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure seamless integration with the school's programs.
  • Provide administrative support, including record-keeping and reporting.

Requirements

  • Certificate 4, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in children's services or equivalent.
  • Current Employee Working with Children's Checks (willing to obtain).
  • HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training.
  • Child Protection (CHCPRT001 - Identify and respond to children and young people at risk).
