The Social Event Coordinator plays a vital role in this mission, responsible for planning and executing social events and activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the Wellbeing Manager to develop a tailored calendar of social events and experiences.
  • Working closely with the care team to deliver social activities that promote mental health and quality of life.
  • Supporting the orientation and training of volunteers to enhance their engagement with residents.
  • Liaising with volunteers to attend and host social events, fostering positive relationships with the community.

Requirements for the role include:

  • Tertiary qualification in event management (desired).
  • Certificate IV in Community Services (Lifestyle and Leisure) and/or relevant qualification (desired).
  • Previous experience in delivering events and activities.
  • Previous aged care experience (desired).

Please note that all applicants must be willing to complete a pre-employment medical, police clearance, and NDIS worker's clearance.
