Neurorehabilitation Care Specialist

Seeking a passionate Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist to deliver specialist inpatient and outpatient neurorehabilitation care within a 10-bed unit at Mackay Base Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a varied case mix, including stroke, spinal, amputee, deconditioning, and complex surgical patients
- Supervise and lead a team including an advanced trainee, junior doctor, and medical students
- Contribute to procedural and policy development and engage in innovation and research
- Oversee the rehabilitation registrar training program and support education and training initiatives
- Eligible for Specialist Registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Fellowship of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFRM) or equivalent
