Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist

This role is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team at Mackay Base Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialist inpatient and outpatient neurorehabilitation care within a 10-bed unit.
- Manage a varied case mix, including stroke, spinal, amputee, deconditioning, and complex surgical patients.
- Supervise and lead a team, including an advanced trainee, junior doctor, and medical students.
- Contribute to procedural and policy development and engage in innovation and research.
- Oversee the rehabilitation registrar training program and support education and training initiatives.
