The role of Maintenance Fitter is crucial in ensuring maximum equipment uptime by providing effective and efficient preventative and scheduled maintenance. As a skilled tradesperson, you will be responsible for general welding and fabrication duties, making, fitting or repairing mechanical machines, instruments and appliances, and supporting other projects as required.

About You

  • You must have a minimum of 2 years post-trade experience, preferably with previous welding and fabrication experience.
  • You should possess experience in maintenance/repair in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, including troubleshooting and rectifying problems.
  • A thorough understanding of maintenance work management practices, work planning and scheduling procedures, and WHS regulations/procedures is essential.
  • You should be able to work autonomously and in a team, and have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
