Positions are now available for Feedlot staff, as well as a Farm Hand, to join a well-established local beef Wagyu feedlot and cropping enterprise, located outside Toowoomba on the Darling Downs. Working in the feedlot, your main duties will be inducting cattle, feeding, performing health checks, pen cleaning, yard maintenance, preparation of new bunks and troughs, and all other cleanliness of the feedlot surrounds. Our client is also seeking a permanent member for the farm. Duties would include tractor work, fence maintenance, water infrastructure, checking cattle health, and all of their surrounds. The roles are available to applicants wanting to start off as casual, and progress into full time, being the right fit for the company of course. You will be required to work a 40 hour week, and a day rate will be discussed upon the interview stage. It is essential you have a drivers licence and reliable transport, as the position is based a few kilometres outside of Toowoomba. No accommodation is supplied on farm at present, however the surrounding townships are only a stones-throw away for other convenient options.
