About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Communications and Community Relations Officer to join our team at Everi Pty. As a key member of our Executive Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization by enhancing our communication strategies and fostering strong community relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communication Materials and Press Releases: Prepare and publish high-quality communication materials, including press releases, school forms, documents, brochures, guides, handbooks, and newsletters.
  • Brand Marketing and Community Engagement: Develop and implement whole-of-school brand marketing strategies, manage information evenings, and promote key aspects of the school through communication initiatives and events.
  • Policy Advice and Public Affairs: Provide strategic policy advice and assistance in implementing communications strategies, involving identifying and understanding client expectations and offering public affairs advice that takes into consideration possible media implications.
  • Digital Presence and Publicity Materials: Develop and manage the school's digital presence, including the newsletter, website, and social media channels, by sourcing digital content and encouraging increased engagement.
About You

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and time-management skills, along with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in digital communication tools and social media platforms is essential. The candidate should be capable of working independently and handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Proven experience in a communications or public relations role, preferably within an educational setting, is highly desirable.
