About the Role

At Escient, we're seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team of professionals dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to our clients. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in understanding our clients' needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing effective strategies to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Needs Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of client needs, including their goals, processes, and challenges, to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and contribute to innovative solutions.
  • Reporting and Communication: Create and present clear and concise reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and strategies to clients and internal teams.
  • Implementation and Execution: Assist in the implementation, ensuring successful execution and desired outcomes.
  • Industry Trends and Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, providing thought leadership and strategic guidance to clients and colleagues.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and methodologies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our consulting services.
Requirements
  • Relevant Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualification and IIBA certification is desirable.
  • Professional Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a professional services or consulting environment.
  • Business Process Modelling and Business Case Writing: Have business process modelling and business case writing experience.
  • Analytical and Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and interpret large datasets. Proficient in tools and techniques, such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Self-Motivation and Adaptability: Highly self-motivated, proactive, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Possess a selfless, creative, and courageous mindset, embracing challenges with resilience and adaptability.
  • Project Management Methodologies: Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is a plus.
