Talent International is seeking a seasoned Business Solutions Analyst to join a local government authority in a key role.

Job Summary:

The Business Solutions Analyst will be a crucial member of the ElevateHR project team, focusing on Payroll, Timekeeping, and HR systems. This role is responsible for gathering requirements, documenting high-level as-is and to-be processes, supporting the procurement process, and driving the implementation of the selected solution. Working within a project and program team, you will lead stakeholder engagement across various departments within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Validation: Lead the validation and documentation of Payroll, Timekeeping, and HR requirements and business scenarios within the organisation.
  • Process Documentation: Capture high-level as-is and to-be processes (up to process level 2) for Payroll, Timekeeping, and HR across the organisation.
  • Procurement Support: Assist with procuring the organisation's new Payroll, Timekeeping, and HR system.
  • Process Design: Identify and facilitate process improvements by conducting complex business and system process analysis and design.
  • Solution Alignment: Support alignment of the chosen Payroll, Timekeeping, and HR solution(s) with existing systems in the organisation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Understand and negotiate the needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders.
  • Change Management: Support the organisation's transition from their current Payroll, Timekeeping, and HR systems to the new system, fostering a positive change environment.
  • Implementation Support: Assist in solution implementation phases, including configuration, testing, data mapping/migration, cut-over, and post-launch activities.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage issues, risks, and benefits throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties within your competency, skills, and training as directed by your supervisor.

About the Role:

This is an 18-month contract with the potential for extensions. The role requires 2 days of work from home per week.
