About the Role:

The Business Services Support role at Aurizon is a valuable team member within the Business Services Team. This role is responsible for providing high-quality service to our customers by performing a range of business support functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for reception, meeting booking management, catering requests, meeting room setup, consumables management, mail processing, compliance, process adherence, mailbox management, call centre operations, support activities, and facilities management.

About You:

  • Previous experience in reception, call centre operations, customer service, or administrative support is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills and stakeholder management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint) is preferred but not necessary.
  • Ability to undertake manual handling tasks in a safe manner.
  • Ability to work reliably and flexibly in a changing work environment.
  • Proficiency with call centre operations, email management tools, mail processing systems, meeting coordination is preferred but not necessary.
  • Experience in managing inventories and ordering supplies.
  • An autonomous self-starter with a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Professional appearance and demeanour.
  • Ability to handle high-traffic environments with a positive attitude.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
