A unique opportunity has arisen to join our organisation as a Patient Flow Manager, bringing your leadership skills and expertise in patient flow management to a dynamic team.
This role is responsible for ensuring seamless patient flow within the facility, coordinating and facilitating strategies to improve access to care. As a leader within the nursing and midwifery teams, you will inspire and motivate staff to reach their full potential, upholding the vision of compassionate care and leading effective work cultures.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate and facilitate patient flow strategies to enhance the delivery and timeliness of access to care.
- Provide leadership within the nursing and midwifery leadership team, fostering open communication and inspiring staff to excel.
- Uphold the vision of compassionate care by promoting patient-centered practices and leading work cultures that transform experiences.
- Support service development, oversee operational processes and clinical outcomes, and drive continuous improvement.
- Foster relationships with executive teams, clinical managers, peers, and district managers to achieve organisational goals.
- A current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and experience deemed appropriate.
- Demonstrated leadership as a resource person and role model in the clinical setting, able to work collaboratively with operational, corporate, and clinical leaders.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills, including the ability to establish and promote collaborative relationships with facility-based teams, executives, and departmental managers.
- An Australian C-Class driver's license is required.
