Job Opportunity

Brunel is partnering with a global leader in life sciences to upgrade their lab assets.

This 3-month contract has the potential to extend for 24-36 months and will be based on-site at Broadmeadows, working with a project team that includes an experienced Project Director eager to mentor and develop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and controlling cost activities through all phases of the project lifecycle
  • Supporting the implementation of project cost management programmes
  • Ensuring timely delivery of cost reports within project controls processes and procedures
  • Developing project budgets according to project estimates and WBS
  • Liaising with engineering, procurement, and construction functions
  • Producing updates to project cost forecasts
  • Issuing project change orders/variations in accordance with engineering and construction change notifications

Requirements:

  • Three years' experience as a Cost Controller/Specialist
  • Relevant degree
  • Exposure to brownfields projects considered advantageous
  • Proficiency with industry-standard software including Microsoft Excel and cost control programmes
