About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Manager to lead our team at Coopers Plains, QLD. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of engineering, maintenance, and continuous improvement for our Gyprock factory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Engineering and Maintenance team to ensure the effective operation of the site.
  • Champion safety and well-being by creating a healthy and inclusive work environment.
  • Inspire growth and efficiency by leading the Maintenance team to maximise productivity while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
  • Empower collaboration by providing leadership in daily and long-term operations, driving improvement initiatives, and training programs.
  • Provide technical leadership to guide the plant towards achieving strategic objectives.
  • Innovate for sustainability by utilising Lean Manufacturing Principles to enhance plant reliability and product quality.
Requirements

We are looking for an individual with a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background and experience in a manufacturing site. You will have excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate your team.
