Selectability is a not-for-profit charity with a primary focus of improving mental wellbeing and contributing to suicide prevention across regional Queensland.
We believe everyone has the right to access high-quality supports locally and have recently expanded our services to include child safety, and residential aged care in the Lower Gulf.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality service delivery, regulatory quality assurance and continuous improvement within our child and family care services.
- Our ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and families.
The operations advisor will collaborate with our regional teams to provide support in delivering best practise initiatives. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of key legislation and standards.
The operations advisor is responsible for providing support and guidance in the intake of children and young people in child and family care services within selectability. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing support, advice, and guidance to regional teams to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
- Collaborating with regional teams to deliver best practice initiatives and promote quality service delivery.
- Maintaining high levels of understanding regarding key legislation and standards.
- Mentoring and promoting education and learning opportunities for regional teams.
- Traveling to regions to support, advise, and analyse regional performance.
- Assisting teams in correspondence with external stakeholders in the delivery of quality care.
To be successful, you must possess a bachelor's degree in social work/psychology or behavioural science qualification and/or relevant experience. You should also have highly developed person-centred communication skills, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a commitment to best practice.
